Life (figure) drawing pose This kind of pose is very much liked by tutors and students, particularly sculptors.  Here, Eddy has made it even more interesting from a trigonometrical point of view by placing his right hand on his shoulder.
Although this marks him out as a thinking model, it also presents him with quite a challenge.  A general rule for beginners is to avoid leaning out too much in floor poses, but to lean out this much on ONE hand is definitely not recommended, unless it's a medal you're after.
Oh, and watch out for the 'dead leg' syndrome when putting this much weight on one side of your bum.  The sciatic nerve doesn't like it.
